Growing!!! Are we really?
Change is something thats unchangeable an adage says. Change and growth are not always synonymous though! Does being connected means we share the same warmth in our relationships?does having higher I.Q means you are above the rest?Going into the topic, I had always been Fascinated by evolution. We have higher I.Q than our parents and our progenies would out beat us but,Are we being human as our predecessors? The answer is a sure no I would say. For example, my sisters kids can operate blackberry being in their third grade but they never share their toys amongst themselves happily as me and sisters had. When compared with my mother and her sisters we would surely be lagging behind. Where does the problem begin? Are we losing our humanness in our quest to stand alone from the crowd? How many kids today play amongst or know the names of kids in their own apartments? leave alone the kids, how many parents set an example to their kids by socializing with the neighbors? Is it evolution or self destruction of our traits. What is money and success worth with no one to rejoice with us? Think about it!!!

Expectations and relationships
Well, one doesn't need to be a psychiatrist to speak about this right? Coz we all have been in one or other kinda relationship with others in the world. The one thing we all have in common in a relationship is having expectations on the other end or in the relationship itself. I have read good adage few days back, Always expect the unexpected from and woman and never expect anything from a man. But to be frank we all have one or other expectation on others. But the problem is we never understand the expectation of others on us until we see a strain in our relationships. How often do we emphatise with the other person? how often do we think them as much as our own? we often see people living happily amidst us and ask y not me? but the question should have been why didn't i? The main problem is we often mix up expectations and responsibilities. I can expect my friends to do something. thats expectation it may or may nt be possible. But my friend should save me if iam dying thats responsibility of my friends. But if i or my friends confuses between these two then it leads to unpleasant situation. We often think we can turn back on any relationship friendship ,love, parents everyone. We say we live in information age where we can talk between Atlanta nd Andipatty but, At the same time we rejoice our sisters marraige on cd or worse. Is this where we want technology to take us to? connecting with people can never be the same as sharing the same bond between people. So if we are searching for a solution, we think why expect but we cant be in tat way. The right way is to understand the subtle nuances that exist and appreciate those differences else you wouldnt sustain any of the relationships.

Dell laptops review- Experiencing my first laptop
I bought a new Studio 15 laptop a week back. I bought it after gettig feedbacks from my friends ( rembr im at hostel where there are many brands ) My experience made me feel why went for them. I had the worst customer service from dell.First my sales manager said, I would be getting the lap in a weeek's time but i nevr got any further updates after i made my payment(dell has three methods- demand draft, master card or online money transfer(u can use it even if u have an ordinary bank account))> After a series of mails for more than a month, I got this sleek diva at my hands.
Coming to the product, Studio is appealing at first sight has a good design(Im not impressed by the themes - anyway if u can shell another 3500 bucks u can try). The system comes without any freebies except ear phones. On performance wise it performs exceedingly well. Assasins creed and other high end games can be played without any snag. The512 mb graphics card performs well at high resolution but one could see the small snag when aa is increased t the maximum. other multimedia apps run easily( esp photoshop can be fun if u use this gal). The processor is also gud at 2.26 ghz and with 4gb ram u can run almost any application on it. But the two problems i faced was, The lap gets super heated at times u wud feel ur keeping a hot pan on ur lap after an hour. Also the combo drive produces so much sound that makes you think a mini auto is running inside ur lap. Also The facial recognition system sucks i have logged in and out of my system more than hundred times yet the system wudnt recognise me. Dell could have done better at that.
My suggestion on buying a lap
Unless your interested in multimedia dont go for this coz u can have lenovo at half this price and lenovo's build is very good while dell has mediocre build quality.
If you buy this go for the following upgradtions- a 9 cell battery and 4 gb ram(default- 3gb)
If its not urgent you can wait for some time as blu ray drives are getting cheap evry day.

Chinese style for India
There was a heated discussion among us friends on which form of government was better-democratic or communist.Though it died out in an hour ,owing to other discussions like movie and politics, i wondered if my arguments that india is best with democracy was right seeing the Libran commision report. It's so disgusting that we live amongst such religious fanatics.
There were several issues raised during that discussion and i'll try to explain things in my view
- One party is good for the nation
My answer is even if one party is in power, all thieves would rob together together in a single party rather than in opposite camps. The feuds would be more coz,Indians are a mixed race with many religions, cultures and traditions.so a one party system would produce lead to more confusion and power hungryclans vying for the time to dig graves for each other.
- Strict rules or severe punishments
- Aggressive poilcies
We are no good than them,if we couldnt keep our Holy Ganga pure-we wouldnt keep anythn clean. But we are not like China -sacrificing evrything for sake of development.Chinese may be the largest economy in Asia but, they too had they hit in recession while our markets were relatively stable.Chinese economy is largely based on exports and so it can never be termed as good.We wonder at their magnificient Three Gorges project forgetting the millions vacated without a penny of compensation.Even India does that, but atleast here we have a chance to agitate for the compensation-Would Medhapatkar been alive ha she been in China?
- Iron handedness
so,I still stand and would stand on the view that,we have a unique way of dealing things. It may be flawed because men who frame them are flawed.Inspite of it if we could reach this heights ,its astounding...Proud to ba an Indian..

The project we intend to do...
Being at the last semester of my engineering course,i have a a project to make. There were several ideas on selecting a project.i personally had believed that, whatever you take from the community you must repay at least a part of it.The idea of doing this project, the project that we try to implement struck me in train when i was travelling back from Goa.To be frank i thought i was the first to invent something new or outta box.But the fact was that people were working on it for half a decade :(.but the good thing was my idea was still in research and there was something that i could always contribute.O.k./. coming to my dream project,"A real time mine detection system employing sensors" that could reduce the time and risks involved in demining activities. You will understand the problem if i give you a statistic outta 2million mines planted every year in conflict zones only 1000000 are marked and far lesser removed. The dormants that have been there from second world war accrues with newly planted and they impose severe problemsMost of the times the intended targets escape and it's just the civilians who get exposed and their hands or limbs get blown off.Technology grows everyday and detection gets harder with arrival of plastic mines. so thats the core area we would be concentrating on .But the project has been plagud by funds!!! the gpr sensor that we had intended for use costs us in lakhs,so we are trying to implement the project using a cheap ir sensor while improving it's efficiency. After all technology's about that right-uplifting the weaker !!!!

Religion and tradition
To me, Religion always has been an enigma. Been brought up in a family where customs are a must even if u dnt agree with them, I have had disturbing questions about religion for a long period of time.till date i have not been able to understand any crap he so called spiritual gurus say. They say that god is one but they worship countless deities and each with its own rites. if its nothng but different form of god, why should one do rites differently? first of all te rites themselves are nothing but methods employed by our ancestors to make us still to some good things. i'll explain them, first of all the simple tradition that one should keep vibuthi, it was to make man realize that all earthly things come to meet the same end and be simple in life yet, we there would be a big chaos if one does not get special vibuthi !!!!And medically it removes water from sinus after a bath eliminating the possibility of getting headache or cold.
The other tradition of being wet while in temple(tats y u get drenched if u visit Ramaeshwaram) the body can absorb the vibrations well if its wet.in line with simple conductivity ideas. but none does that. one common stupidity i often find irritating is that people sitting after going to a temple. For god's sake,in those days temples were big and ur legs were tired 2 day u build a temple in 4 cents and still u sit blocking the small entrance dumbheads!!!
The religion instead of doing what it should have done has done the worst.it has created maniacas who are obsessed with nothing but traditions and worst they pass it o to their progeny's as well..i'll come with more a bit later

chennai ma bodhi tree..
i ahd beeen to chennai some 5 times i think. each time i had learnt something about life ther.while i as a kid for the first two trips(though i learnt the basics of boardin a crowded bus then :) ) the other trips had been a revealation.i would like to shed lihgt on two such trips, one as a year back when i went to chennai for my vacation. i bought a food packet for 20 rupees and while trying to consume it, i dropped it in train.the good thing was that i got some food from the family who sat opposite to me,but there was a lady who was selling sum fruits in train.as soon as she saw me havn been careless she said, it was her days wage.never had i felt so ashamed in my life after that, i try to consume evry bit of food i get.the other incident is more recent one.i got into a bus to tambaram there was an old man who was sitting next to me.i dont knw what he thought, but he was asking me so much questions about things and i was eagerly answring him with a comfort that i had found someone gud in chennai.but after a point he told something about marks and askd about community.i had thouhgt that people living in metros were a bit straihgt forward but to the contrary they are similar to the uneduacted except fro that they ask it with civility.but the very root is deeply establised in peoples dna i suppose..hw cud anyone dream of a united india with chromoseomal abberations??
